Edit PDF
Add text, images, freehand strokes and shapes to a PDF as annotations over the pages. Done in your browser, with nothing uploaded.
The Edit PDF tool adds text over a document as a new annotation layer, with configurable position, size and color. Everything runs in your browser.
You choose the page, set the X/Y position, font size and color, and the text is drawn over the PDF with pdf-lib. The original content is not changed.
The tool works as an overlay layer: it is useful for filling fields, adding notes or making annotations without modifying existing text.
Ideal for completing forms, marking revisions or adding quick information to a document that will be shared.
When to use it
- Adding a note to a specific page of a report.
- Filling in a name field on a simple form.
Limitations
- Text is overlaid as a layer; it does not edit or replace existing PDF text.
- Positioning is by X/Y coordinates, without automatic alignment or line wrapping.
Step by step
- Select the PDF.
- Type the text and set the page, position, size and color.
- Click Add text overlay and download the file.
