The mark is drawn with pdf-lib as a new layer over each page, without modifying the original content. The document stays readable and intact.

It is ideal for marking documents as draft or confidential, or adding a company logo before distributing material.

Limitations

The watermark is visual and does not prevent copying, extraction or editing of the PDF.
Positioning is centered; there is no fine per-page coordinate adjustment.
