This tool sends data to a server and needs a connection during processing. The worker attempts to remove temporary files after the task. Immediate deletion is not guaranteed if a failure occurs. Automatic subtitles may send audio to Groq, depending on server configuration. Provider retention follows its policies. Per-file limit: 25 MB. Maximum file count: 1.

Frequently asked questions
Can I generate captions automatically?
Yes. With a video selected, click Generate free captions. The audio is transcribed on the server and the cues appear for you to edit.
Can I import an SRT file?
Yes. Click Import SRT and check the timings and text before exporting.
Are subtitles a separate track?
No. They are burned into the MP4 so they work in any player.

When you generate captions from audio or export the MP4. Preview and text editing stay in your browser.
