About

Calculates the difference between two dates, including total days, business days and full weeks. Perfect for deadlines and planning.

How to count days between two dates

UtilNexo's day counter calculates how many days separate two dates, with or without the start day, for deadlines, travel, and planning.

The tool subtracts the start date from the end date and reports the total calendar days. It is useful for tracking delivery deadlines, contract lengths, warranty periods, and event countdowns.

Just enter the two dates and the tool returns the total calendar days between them.

Examples

  • From 01/01/2026 to 12/31/2026 → 364 days.
  • From 08/01/2026 to 09/01/2026 → 31 days.

Limitations

  • The count is calendar days (civil calendar); it does not exclude weekends or holidays.
  • The result uses the browser's local date to interpret 'today'.

How to use the day counter

Frequently asked questions

Is the start day included in the count?

The count considers the interval between dates; you can adjust it to include or exclude the start day as needed.

Can I count business days?

To exclude weekends, use UtilNexo's business days calculator, which makes that distinction.

Are holidays considered?

No. The counter is calendar days; regional or national holidays are not subtracted automatically.
