About

Validates email format according to RFC standards (domain and TLD), right in the browser. Great for forms.

How to validate an email address correctly

A mistyped email can cost sales and block user logins. The UtilNexo validator checks the structure of an email address so you can catch typos before sending.

An email address has two parts: the local part (before the @) and the domain (after the @). The tool checks that there is exactly one @, that neither part is empty, and that the domain has a dot separating the name from the extension.

It is important to understand what validation does and does not do. It confirms the structure (syntax), not whether the inbox actually exists. For that, a confirmation email would be required, which no regex-based validation can guarantee.

This check is useful in signup forms, contact lists, and before launching campaigns, reducing the bounce rate caused by malformed addresses.

Examples

  • name@domain.com → valid.
  • name@@domain.com or name@domain → invalid (two @ or a domain without a TLD).

Limitations

  • Validation is syntactic: it does not confirm that the inbox exists or accepts messages.
  • Emails with internationalized domains (IDN) or very new TLDs may be handled conservatively.

How to use the email validator

  1. 1Paste the email into the main field.
  2. 2Click Process.
  3. 3See whether it is valid or invalid.

Frequently asked questions

Does validation send any email?

No. It is a local format check, with no sending and no network connection.

Does a valid-format email always exist?

No. The format may be correct, but the account may not exist. Format validation is the first filter, not the final guarantee.

Are dots and hyphens allowed?

Yes, as long as they respect the rules (for example, no dot at the start or end of the local part, no consecutive dots).
