About

Generates random numbers within a defined range, useful for draws and quick decisions.

How to generate random numbers

The UtilNexo random number generator draws numbers within a range you define, with or without repetition. It is useful for draws, games, software testing, and simulations.

You set the minimum and maximum values, plus how many numbers you want. The tool draws values within that range, respecting the repetition or uniqueness rules.

For draws where each number can appear only once (like bingo or a raffle), enable the no-repetition mode. For simulations and tests where repeats are acceptable, the repetition mode generates each value independently.

Generation uses a random generator suitable for common draws and tests. For security cases (like passwords and tokens), prefer the specific tools that use cryptographically secure randomness.

Examples

  • Range 1 to 10, 3 numbers without repetition → 7, 2, 9.
  • Range 1 to 6, 5 numbers with repetition → 3, 6, 3, 1, 4.

Limitations

  • In no-repetition mode, the requested quantity cannot exceed the range (for example, asking for 11 distinct numbers between 1 and 10 is impossible).
  • The randomness used is enough for draws and tests, but should not be used to generate passwords, keys, or cryptographic secrets.

How to use the random number generator

  1. 1Set the range (minimum and maximum) and the quantity.
  2. 2Choose with or without repetition.
  3. 3Click Generate and check the numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Are the numbers truly random?

Yes, within the limits of a computational generator. For casual draws and tests, the randomness is more than sufficient.

Can I generate numbers without repetition?

Yes, just enable that option. Each number will appear at most once, as long as the quantity fits the range.

Is it suitable for official draws?

For informal draws, yes. For official or legally binding draws, use an auditable, regulated method.
