About
A fast, private Spacebar counter for Spacebar clicker, speed, and CPS-style challenges without sending key presses to a server.
Spacebar Clicker Online: Spacebar Counter and Speed Test
Test how many times you can press the Spacebar in 1, 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 seconds. See presses per second, presses per minute, and your local best score.
This Spacebar Clicker turns a simple challenge into a clear pace measurement. The first valid press starts the timer, and each physical key press counts once; automatic repeats from holding the key are ignored.
The counter runs entirely in your browser with no account and no key sequence upload. Start with the 10-second Spacebar speed test and compare rounds using the same duration to track your own progress.
How Spacebar speed is calculated
PPS = total presses ÷ elapsed seconds. PPM is PPS multiplied by 60. The timer uses high-resolution timestamps instead of relying only on interval ticks.
How to improve your pace
Keep your hand relaxed, press the center of the key, and use short sessions. Compare results at the same duration and avoid forcing the keyboard or your fingers.
What the result shows
- Total Spacebar presses recorded during the round.
- PPS, or presses per second, based on real elapsed time.
- PPM, duration, an informal rating, personal best, and history stored only on this device.
Limits and privacy
- The rating bands are for fun and are not a scientific or professional assessment.
- Mouse clicks are not mixed into the Spacebar test; a physical keyboard is required.
- Individual key presses are never sent to analytics, APIs, or a server. You can clear local history at any time.
How to use the Spacebar Counter
- 1Choose a preset duration or enter any whole number from 1 to 300 seconds.
- 2Focus the test area and press the Spacebar to start.
- 3Keep pressing until the timer reaches zero, then review PPS, PPM, and total presses.
- 4Try again, change the duration, or share the aggregate result.
Frequently asked questions
What does PPS mean?
PPS means presses per second. It is total presses divided by the real seconds elapsed in the round.
Does holding Spacebar add many presses?
No. Browser key-repeat events and a key that remains down are ignored so each physical press counts once.
Which duration should I use?
Ten seconds is a useful starting point. One- and five-second rounds are quick, while 30- and 60-second rounds show a steadier pace.
Can I use the test on a phone?
The main experience is designed for a physical keyboard. On a phone, connect a Bluetooth or USB keyboard; screen taps are not counted as Spacebar presses.
