About

Extracts all email addresses from a text, ideal for collecting contacts from documents and pages.

How to extract emails from a text

The email extractor scans a text and separates every email address found. It is ideal for building contact lists from documents, pasted spreadsheets, or messages.

The tool identifies email address patterns (like name@domain.com) within the text and lists them in the order they appear.

Extraction works even when emails are mixed with other words, punctuation, or code lines. Just paste the content and the tool scans it automatically.

Everything happens locally in the browser. The text never leaves your device, so you can extract contacts from sensitive documents with full privacy.

Examples

  • Text "Contact ana@example.com or joao@company.com" → extracts ana@example.com and joao@company.com.
  • Text with "contact@site.com" repeated → the address appears at every occurrence.

Limitations

  • The tool validates the format, but does not verify whether the email account actually exists or is active.
  • Addresses with rare or invalid formats (no domain, with spaces) may not be detected or may produce false positives.
  • Emails obfuscated to avoid bots (e.g. "name [at] domain.com") are not recognized.

How to use the email extractor

  1. 1Paste or type the text containing the addresses.
  2. 2See the list of emails extracted automatically.
  3. 3Copy the list wherever you need it.
